Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about what Mirrored does, what it costs, and how your data and broker connections are handled. No hype, no signals — if anything here isn't clear, email me.

What is Mirrored, and who is it for?

Mirrored is a trading journal and analytics tool built for futures traders — especially people running prop-firm evaluations and funded accounts. It imports your trades, tracks your prop-firm rules, and reflects your actual numbers back to you so you can spot patterns and stop repeating the same mistakes. It's for traders who want honest feedback, not motivation or predictions.

Does Mirrored place trades or give trade signals?

No. Mirrored is a journal only — it never places, routes, modifies, or cancels orders, and it never moves money. It does not give trade signals, tell you what to buy or sell, or make any income or profitability claims. Every trading decision, and every outcome, is entirely yours.

How much does Mirrored cost, and is there a free trial?

Mirrored is $9.99/month or $99/year, and new Monthly and Annual plans start with a 3-day free trial. You add a card up front but aren't charged during the trial, and you can cancel anytime before it ends to avoid any charge. One trial per customer; after the trial the plan auto-renews at the stated price until you cancel.

How do broker connections work?

Broker connections are strictly read-only: Mirrored imports your own orders, fills, positions, and balances to build your journal, and it cannot trade or move funds. You connect Tradovate with one-click OAuth through Tradovate's own secure screen, and Rithmic or CQG with the credentials your broker or prop firm issued you. Those tokens and credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM in a server-only store, and you can disconnect anytime to revoke access.

Which platforms and prop firms are supported?

Mirrored connects to Tradovate, Rithmic, and CQG. Most prop-firm accounts connect through Rithmic using the login your firm issued you, so if your firm routes through Rithmic you can journal those accounts automatically. If your broker or firm isn't supported yet, you can still add and edit trades manually.

Do I have to connect a broker to use Mirrored?

No. Connecting Tradovate, Rithmic, or CQG imports your trades automatically, but you can also add and edit trades by hand if you prefer, or if your broker isn't supported yet. Either way, your journal, rule tracking, and reviews work the same.

Do I need to keep the app open for it to sync?

No. Broker syncs run on the server on a periodic schedule in short-lived sessions, so your trades keep importing even when the app is closed. Because syncs are periodic rather than instant, a trade you just closed may take a little while to show up.

What is the Eval Guardian and the discipline grade?

Eval Guardian watches your account against your prop-firm rules — trailing drawdown, daily loss limits, and profit targets — and warns you as you approach them, so a breach doesn't sneak up on you. The discipline grade scores how well you stuck to your own rules and plan, not whether you made money. Both are aids, not guarantees: prop-firm rules change often, so always confirm your status against your firm directly.

What is the AI weekly review?

Once a week, Mirrored generates a plain-English review of your recent trading that surfaces patterns — like overtrading, revenge trades, or your best and worst setups — and suggests what to focus on next. It's a reflection of what you actually did, not a market forecast or a signal, and it never promises results.

Is my data safe, and can I export or delete it?

Yes. Your trades, notes, and account data are yours — each account's data is isolated at the database level, encrypted in transit, and never sold. You can export or permanently delete your data at any time from the app or by emailing us, and deleting your account removes your trades, notes, and broker tokens from the live database.

How do I cancel, and can I get a refund?

You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing or the Stripe billing portal, and your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancel during the 3-day free trial and you're never charged. After the trial, charges aren't refundable — the free trial is your evaluation window. Questions? Email david@mirrored.online.
